We got a tweet from Neil that shows a 16MB update to v11.1.1 on the Nokia X (Previous on v10.0.3).
Later tweets show his Nokia X was rooted with Google Play and it seems to have installed fine. Furthermore, it appears tile colours of 3rd party apps can now be modified as well as improved performance.
